Every script I tried was 100% compatible with this addon, as they claimed.

I switched to SimpleBlock and I was wondering if I could have that same filter as I did on AdBlock? I notice that on a lot
sites adds are not blocked which is really annoying.

Adblock Plus supports matching anywhere in a string, wildcards and regular expressions, whereas SimpleBlock only supports the first and last (if you append "R: " before a filter line). In theory, regular expression support means you can convert lists from any format to work with this addon, but matching anywhere is a much faster method, whereas adding too many regexps will slow things down.

In English: this means you will want to use this list, it'll work because Iron uses the same system for ad blocking

Download the .ini file. Move it to your Firefox profile folder and name it "SimpleBlock.ini". Open it in Notepad and remove the first five lines, which are comments the addon doesn't understand. Now right-click SimpleBlock's icon in Firefox and choose to reload the blocklist. It should work now.

Firefox has that built-in. Make sure keyword.enabled=true in about:config, then set keyword.URL to the a query string with %s where the search terms should be (for example, http://www.google.com/search?q=%s).

Thanks anon, that is just perfect.

Also, none of "youtube prevent auto-play" scripts/add-ons listed in entire thread work with the new layout.
    Solution to this ?

The one I posted above seems to work. I presumed it was the new layout that broke them all once again.

The one I posted should work as well, on greasemonkey, at least that's what the author said.

For web designers & developers, the three must-have tools are:

    1. Colorzilla

    2. Web Developer

    3. Firebug
