uTorrent 3.0: Send Files ?

Hi all, what does the Send Files features do ? It just create a magnet link on the uTorrent site ?

I really don't understand, if I would send a file to someone, i do the .torrent and send only to him instead upload on a public hoster. So what's this "Send Files" ? And a files sent with this system, when will be deleted from the uT's site ?
