    Google's new Reverse Image search

Inside Google Search · Search by Image

Google has recently launched a new feature as part of their image search engine in which the user can link or upload a picture to find where else it is used on the internet. The specific term for this is reverse image search, which has been made popular by the TinEye website for several years.

There are some reverse image searching services in the last few years. I even heard of a music searching service based on the notes that you inputted in. btw, this one is really useful, make it hassle-free for me to look for some chick's info

The "Search by Image" extension for Chrome is pretty handy. Once installed you can right-click on any image on a page and search Google for that image.

It found some stuff when Tineye couldn't, but I still prefer Tineye. In a way, distancing myself from having all my eggs and personal info at google is a good idea :)

Hope they'd fix it to level of tineye at least and we could use it instead of tineye cuz tineye forbids half of internet for searching and google would not.
