So at media even in San Francisco today ,Google revealed the latest things they’re bringing to the PC - speech recognition and computer vision technology to the desktop, and took the next step for Google Instant—Instant Pages.

People who use Android-based phones already know that it includes support for using voice to enable Google search,but this is a first for PC based browser.Users will be able to see a microphone icon on the Search button. Chrome users can simply click on it and speak their search terms.At the moment only English is supported.

Search Images feature at images.google.com. is also a new innovation.Using the feature you can upload an image or even plug in an image URL and then the Search Images features will try to find out things like a location and more. The feature will be available in 40 languages and will be supported by both Chrome and Firefox web browsers via extensions.

They also announced a new way to speed up searches in general called Instant Images. According to Google "Instant Pages will prerender results when we’re confident you’re going to click them. The good news is that we’ve been working for years to develop our relevance technology, and we can fairly accurately predict when to prerender."It will be launched in the next beta version of the Chrome browser
