I'm doing fine thank you, and about the same as you, only downloading a few movies here and there, my connection has gotten much better from the days of the past, so that I rarely cheat these days.

good to hear buddy - i upgraded my connection also - but i still cheat a few - since i'm laizy - the electrical bill is no cheap - and frankly idk how to make ration without sb-i - since you get upload speed (seeding) only on never torrents with few seeders - on the rest you just stay there dead -seeding since last november - 100mb uploaded

Plot twist: ore-sama is a very rude way to say "I" in Japanese, but you're one of the gods of this forum too

"Oresama" is both an overly-self-confident and narcissistic way of saying "me" in Japanese. - i don't see anything rude here :))

Is just using mRatio with downloading a lot and then uploading with speeds around 800/900 kb/s okay? Because I searched up waffles method and how to enable it in mRatio but I found a very old guide with almost all images missing

I think the previous page of this thread should be fairly informational on this regard

Because I searched up waffles method and how to enable it in mRatio but I found a very old guide with almost all images missing
The Waffles method involves using relatively high speeds, stopping the torrent very shortly before the tracker update is due, then restarting it (optionally repeating the process), then seeding it as long as possible with a 0 KB/s fake upload speed (also optional but recommended). It was created 11 years ago and named after a tracker that no longer exists, but used to show session statistics in torrent peerlists, as well as a history of all torrents you had ever been active on along their traffic and other details. The whole ordeal prevented you from showing up in the former list, and reduced the impact of the latter by decreasing the average upload speed displayed within over time.

Knowing that, you won't need a guide; the idea of having such a feature in mRatio is not having to watch your torrent(s) and run the steps manually.

How do I use the waffles method in mRatio then? What settings do I check? And is it any better for pornolab than normal mRatio?

If I use Deluge 1.3.15, should I also use Memory reader option? And should I use waffles or just manually start/stop at about normal download speeds, sometime increasing and then decreasing it?

And I think, if using memory reader, I need to keep the torrent open in my actual client also? But in a client file it was mentioned,

uses a global peer_id, so don't run torrents from the same tracker in mRatio and Deluge at the same time
    https://www.sb-innovation.de/showthr...=deluge+1.3.15

So, what do I do, should I keep that file on in both Deluge and mRatio using memory reader or not?

EDIT: Now I'm using qBittorrent 4.2.5

I have a Few questions regarding mRatio:

    1. I am using the qBittorrent 4.2.5 client file for emulation. But memory reader isnt showing. Its all greyed out. Why?
    2. While using Memory reader, I think to my understanding, it is necessary to first load it into qBittorrent and the mRatio. But will it keep running in mRatio if I stop it in qBittorrent?
    3. If I cannot use both qBittorrent and mRatio at the same time for the same file, then will memory reader work? How and why?

Can't help; 100% of my upload on Pornolab is legitimate because they're so easy to seed on.

See below about using mRatio's memory reader on any client other than uTorrent.

But in a client file it was mentioned,

"uses a global peer_id, so don't run torrents from the same tracker in mRatio and Deluge at the same time"

I think the hint you quoted is fairly specific about the answer being no?

All of these questions can be answered with: "[t]he bad news is that mRatio's memory reader only works on uTorrent. The good news is that as of version 4.0.4, qBittorrent doesn't need it in the first place. Just make sure both programs are configured to use the same port, and start qBittorrent first so that it can actually bind to it."

I was asking whether it was possible to run memory reader without running the torrent in the actual client at the same time. I found out: it is.

    Ohk got it.

Any tutorials regarding waffles settings on mRatio? Or best client to use waffles method?

Also, while using uTorrent 1.8.1 and mRatio 5.4.1, mRatio is giving HTTP/1.0 504 Gateway Timeout. Both and using the same port and the torrent is stopped at 10% in uTorrent. Am I doing something wrong or is that error supposed to be there? Because some other torrents are working without showing this error but torrents on pornolab are showing this error on uTorrent 1.8.1 and mRatio 5.4.1 using Memory Reader, but not getting this error in qBittorrent 4.2.5 (in that case, I hadnt added torrent to qBittorrent, was only using emulation)

Final question for now: Is it okay to just use fake upload without downloading, for example, if I just add that torrent to uTorrent and stop it at 0% and download using mRatio and then upload using mRatio? Is there any risk in that?

Or, if I use qBittorrent emulation method and not add the torrent into qBittorrent and just use mRatio for fake download + upload just to build the ratio, (I dont need the files...)

I took the time to check this with a dummy torrent, and indeed got the same error in Pornolab. This may be caused by a bug in mRatio's compatibility mode for old mRClient files. After rewriting the emulation in 5.4.x format (see the attachment at the end of this post), it works fine.

The real question is, though, why are you using uTorrent 1.8.1 in the first place. It's severely outdated, even for the crowd that sticks to old versions of this client, most of whom favor 2.2.1.

The only risk is the one inherent to all forms of cheating: reporting traffic that others are not reporting in the opposite direction (or for methods like ghostleeching and no report, the opposite, failing to report what everyone else says they've uploaded). Do this in an inactive torrent with few peers and you may get caught. Pick one with tons of active ones and it's much less likely.

Also, if you have no interest on the files, there's no need to add the torrent in your client for any reason.

Thanks for helping out on this. If the 2.2.1 version works better then I'm going to use that then.

Alright thanks that helps. Then for files which I dont really want, I'll just add them to mRatio using qBittorrent 4.2.5 emulation and not add it to the client.
    Thanks for the help

Also, whichever emulation (qBittorrent, uTorrent, Deluge I use, the ports should be same both in client and mRatio right? Even if I'm not adding that file in my client?)
