This is probably the best show in a decade or so.

I'll get all books eventually, but don't know if I'll read first two books! Doesn't interest me as much now when I know what happens!

I think it's still an interesting read because you get even better what people thought behind which action they took. Everything is just so more detailed. The most important things are like in the series though. I think I'm gonna read it completely. But maybe a few years after the show ended. Like I did with LotR.

And now we have to wait for Season 4, the finale was OK, not great.
EP9 was great, however a **** spoiled it for me in torrents comments...

I know how you feel. I spoiled my self more than a year ago in a YT video about that! After that I just decided to buy a third book and read it. Now I'm at episode 5 and nothing surprises me anymore

It was really frustrating, after you wait TWO weeks for that particular episode (you know that it got delayed), someone spoils probably one of the most epic episodes of the most anticipated show in a comment? really?

Every moment I was like: "when will he die?, oh now, nope.."

As for the books, I have digital copies of them, I think I might just start reading them, but then again, I prefer to watch it instead of reading it so ...

Similarly, I used to read the TV Tropes articles for series as I watched them, but that always ended up with a lot of spoilers and regret. Now I only do that after watching all episodes.

I started reading the book ,I'm in book #1

The thing is that the books are around 600 pages or even more,

I need to practice speed reading because I'd like to catch up the show

now as far as I know the fourth TV season matches with the 2nd part of the third book

    a lot to read!!

strange, i never cared about spoilers one bit, i'd just watch the show without thinking about what someone said would happen later on - its similar to re-watching (can't blame anyone for spoilers then, eh?), you already know it all but the experience is still satisfactory when focusing on what is currently happening on-screen, as opposed to thinking about or remembering the outcome in advance

not necessary, unless you just have to talk about it, having the info up-to-date
its advisable to read slowly (or slower) & without distractions in order to immerse yourself in the contents, which delivers the best reading experience
afterall, how hard is to download the show and start watching whenever you're ready...unless we're a bit spoiled, eh?
another thing...it might be disappointing to watch the show after you've read the book(s) since there is a high probability that the show would look rather pale/poor or even mutilated/disfigured compared to the book(s)

Third book has over 1000 pages!
Took me around 10 days to finish it! It was really good, unlike fourth book which I'm reading now and it's really boooring so far! They say book #5 is the best!
