This game is awesome. This is the first NFS game after most wanted that I like.
I heard the campaign is only 2 hrs long so I am playing as less as I can to elongate the fun!

Only 2 hours? Are you sure? That's pretty low, even for today's standards!

Can't say for sure but I saw/read this in quite a few first day reviews. Didn't bother to follow up on this.
Here's a link though: News: Need for Speed: The Run campaign is '2 hours long' - ComputerAndVideoGames.com
Note:The time does not include the videos, loading times, replays etc.
Yes if it is true, it would be a shame(even if it's not, it will be pretty short).

I just started playing so I'll see how long it lasts if I even finish it. I play it with my gamepad on PC and I don't know what to do. When I press to go left and right the car responds so slowly I can't make a single turn properly. Anyone has any ideas what should I do?

generally speaking: check gamepad calibration options (both in-game & windows), gamepad drivers (properly installed/recognized?), physical connection to the usb? port (loose?), it could be a hardware problem too

This is probably nothing but yoco, if you haven't already, try changing cars. I have noticed that there is a huge difference in the handling of the cars. Besides this, I can't say much as I don't have a controller :(

About the game, I really like it and considering the fact that the previous ones were crap, makes it even more sweet. I find the prospect of a cross country race fascinating. So maybe it has got something to do with me liking this game :)

I can't find anywhere in game about calibration. The drivers are fine, since I bought it last week, USB connection also fine. I should say I play Pro Evolution Soccer with it and it's working great, only in this game is a bit strange.
    I'll try and switch cars!

Finished this game today. Had loads of fun. Can't wait for NFS TR 2 :)
Very nice game. The first racing game after GRID that I really dig.
    Awesome.

Calibration for gamepads is usually under the gamepad's properties in windows control panel options. Anyway, I believe you problem could be a specific car handling, like leechmodder said.

Yea, I switched the car and it feels a bit better, plus I got a handle of driving now. And like leechmodder said it's pretty fun game! Probably gonna finish it tomorrow. It sure is short!
