how about main and only one valuable reason?
1. People who use IE doesn't know what "upgrade" or "browser" is and how to do upgrading at all.

I don't get this.
clearly IE 9 is superior to IE 8.
most people have IE 8 and the browser they really use on their PC.
what's wrong with having the latest version of IE 9 "just in case" ?
I knew even this time IE would suck
Show respect to all people, but grovel to none
I dislike that as well, but maybe it's time that we get on moving to a newer OS. I like XP and its speed too, but it's a decade old and 7 has many improvements over it.
What's the point of updating something you'll never use? I haven't moved from IE6 here.
OK, thanks to XP's design the IE rendering engine is often in use, but you get the idea.
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
I have language specific websites and other payment services that require IE.
I don't like it but it sometimes necessary.
creating a thread that's called Five reasons to not upgrade to IE9 is hating for no reason..
I stopped using IE since v6, and I don't intend to use it ever again!
I think it's a good move for Microsoft to stop supporting XP.
If and when people stop using XP, the market share for IE6 could go down significantly,
which is a joyous moment, especially for web developers who hate having to make workarounds for IE6 browsers.
Plus, I think it is high time for us to move to new OSes,
which have better features in terms of security.
But I'll say moving from XP to Win7 has some learning curve.
There are things in Win7 that are difficult getting used to,
especially when it comes to user interface.
In fact, I've disabled themes in Win7 and used it's classic theme,
so that it still looks a little like XP.

Vista + IE9 is ok. It's better than IE8 for sure imho.
