That didn't work!
Wow man I don't know what you do with your computer, you always get the most bizarre issues!
Try disabling/enabling ClearType or whatever font smoothing options exist today (Don't know them, can't remember where the options are, Google it! :) )
You could also try Omega Drivers for ATi based cards -> OmegaDrivers.net | ATI/NVIDIA Omega Driver's Home, PC Gaming Drivers & News! (I don't know if your card is supported)
Or you should stop banging the card with your dick
I think we all have had these really weird problems with our computers at some point or the other.
Microsoft has a powertoy to easily turn ClearType on and off as well as modifying a few (otherwise hidden) settings. And thanks for that Omega link, I didn't know about that!
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
Well don't ask me what I did, but after installing new drivers (again) over old ones, everything seems to be fine now, I even see all the fonts. Or maybe it's something I did in bios??? Who knows, as long as it's working now
But I wouldn't celebrate just yet. I'm waiting for another BSOD to happen, if it happens!
Pretty funny that no one suggested this, but isn't it possible that it's just your monitor that doesn't support this resolution, or at least isn't very good at it?
The screen I have at work is one of the cheaper models. When I slide the resolution slider up, the screen keeps working but everything is blurry and nothing seems to fix it. After asking the tech people about it, it turned out that it didn't support the resolution (even though windows was already filtering out the resolutions it didn't support...)
It really sounds like this is your issue. I mainly think it's this because the screenshot you posted of the highest resolution is not blurry at all on my screen.
All in all, it's pretty hard to fuck up installing drivers for such a thing, so I really doubt that is the problem. Conclusion, either your screen doesn't support this or is broken, or your graphics card is broken.
edit: nvm, was fixed while i was typing this ^

As promised here's the BSOD. It happens completely random, mostly when I'm browsing on internet, doesn't matter which browser. I always get this
Code:0x000000EA ati2dvag beginning dump of physical memory
I uninstalled the drivers and installed Omega ones, so far no BSOD!
Hey guys! I don't wanna open a new thread, so I'm just gonna ask here instead.
My cousins graphic card died. He had ATI 9800SE (agp). Now he wants to buy the same one or a bit better one. My question is, what would you recommend? Where can I see which ones are better than his?
if a new(er) pc configuration is not an option then this is probably the most a (certainly outdated) agp graphic card can offer:Originally Posted by yoco

Hey guys! I'm in need of you help once again. This time it's for my sisters laptop. The card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6370, and I'm searching for newest drivers and I found this
ATI Catalyst
But after downloading it says it's not compatible with the card I have!
There are various models for that card. You don't have the drivers for your model. Go to device manager>display adapters>ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6370 (or whatever it is called)>details tab>select as property: hardware ids.
Either copy those ids here, so that we can find the drivers for you or search them in google and see what you get.
I hope this is what you want
