Interesting , I have the previous one sitting in my HD for about a year now and haven't watched it yet. Guess it's time to order some pizza and beer.

The best part in this movie is when they go to the moon and see kaworu. Absolutely terrific! I have to say gainax has implemented very well the characters, giving us more informations about their past. I call this a "study" of evangelion!

You have to see first the entire original anime: 26 episodes of pure epicness! I recommend if you like misterious plots, dark plans, robots, the secrets of jewish cabala and the Dead Sea parchments (the core of the story is all about those ones). After that, there are some teens controlling humanoids known as "eva": they are the only ones who can defeat the Angels. Very intricate and mental
