    what i'll surely watch...
    Sanctum
started out good with nice visuals, but once they got trapped inside the cave(s) it got progressively worse with forced solutions/emotions & plenty of unbelievable/exaggerated situations

    Scream 4
mixed feelings, mediocre acting (sleepwalking), could have been better, especially the over-the-top ending

    Fast Five
finally some decent action movie in 2011, lives up to the early fast & furious reputation (first movie from the series is still the best)

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
didn't like it (as expected), its just more of the same old junk, repetition stretched way beyond good taste - time for sparrow to get his wings clipped

    The Hangover 2
    see above

    The Tree of Life
pretentious artsy garbage whose shallowness cannot be hidden behind several scenes having good cinematography

    X-Men: First Class
after the series got badly damaged by 'the last stand' & 'wolverine' movies nothing changed with this one, which couldn't even rely on the previous experienced actors, but naively thought these freshmen would prove being up to the task...another fail

    Transformers: Dark of the Moon
top cgi, poor script/story, extremely poor characters/dialogue, result: rotten (eye-)candy

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II
the series ends with a deluge, one that (again) destroys/devours everything that was built with the first 2-4 movies, potter is still insecure/emo/pathetic despite of his numerous previous accomplishments or of simply growing up, the defending wizards are lame & incompetent, the same goes for the invading forces whose power was mostly useless fireworks, all of them being mere sidekicks on both sides, waiting for the pitiful/inadequate potter to figure something out and defeat the impotent/ignorant menace of the-one-whose-silly-name-no-one-remembers, verdict: messed-up grand finale wannabe

    Conan the Barbarian (2011)
silly prancing video-game conan, prince of persia? bad dumbed-down movie that can't measure up to the 2 original arnold-starred ones

    Final Destination 5
a decent sequel, delivers just as expected but nothing special or new about it

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1
probably the worst entry so far, very boring, lifeless (!) characters, annoying wolves, ugly concentration-camp cgi & contrived romance - the wedding dress was nice though

(In theaters December 21.) Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol

    Hellraiser: Revelations
original pinhead was replaced, which proved to be a (obvious) mistake, the mansion was borrowed from pr0n movies, the actors/scriptwriters from who-knows-where - it was cheap, shaky, uninteresting, lacking the essential chilling atmosphere present in most of the earlier hellraiser movies

    (????) Duke Nukem
    (2013) Jeepers Creepers III: Cathedral
    (2014) National Treasure 3
(2013) Rambo: Last Stand aka Rambo V : The Savage Hunt

lol @ the dates & duke nukem 'when its done' deja vu all over again

ps: I found Leap Year to be the best movie of 2011:
    pretty heartbreaking
