I saw that greasemonkey is listed in there. Greasemonkey all the way!!

There's one extension that I have. It's not listed in the list on your link; however, it is very much like Interclue. The one that I have that kind of replaces Interclue ( which I once used) is called CoolIRS Previews. ....use it on this site and others all the time. It helps with not having to actually go and click on a link to go there, rather to preview it. It also lets you text posts and do pretty much anything with that link that your previewing much the same as if you had actually clicked on the link to perform such actions.

    that's just my 2 cents.

    Oh, oh. Better use LINUX.

+1.. random selection and missing some essential extensions (like adblock, IE tab, firebug)

We all have different tastes. Some like that, others don't. The way of life

Two of those are only a must have for developers, which most people are not. I'm pretty sure this article is trying to go for a more global view.
However, I must add that my top 10 is completely different from this list as well.

    I have to agree.
One's top 10 doesn't necessarily mean it's the top 10 of someone else. The article is more or less an expression of the articles author's opinion.
In conjunction with that, much like Gapo states, everyone has a sense of their own tastes of what kind of extensions suit them and what don't.
It is the way of life, yes??
