I think you misinterpreted my reply or there was a miscommunication error. Both of which can be talked through calmly.
The thing is - you gave conflicting statements, hence why I asked you to clarify it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Secondly, you can always PM the user or state that the thread should still be closed in your next reply. Best of all is to report it yourself, using the triangle with the exclamation mark. Just a courteous friendly reminder in future.
