Switching Clients After Cheating

Hi, I'm a total noob to cheating, so apologies if this is a stupid question; I did try reading and searching first, couldnt find a direct reference to what I want to know.

Basically, once I've cheated on X tracker using rm, mr and UT1.6.1 is there any reason I shouldn't then use the latest "normal" unmodded version of Utorrent on the same tracker? More generally, on any tracker, won't it look strange if I'm hopping from 1.6.1 to 2.0.4 or whatever all the time?

I've read plausible excuses here for changing clients...

But not for changing versions of the same client...

yes.. it will attract attention of the mods if u keep switching clients.. basically, if u upgrade ur client to say 2.0.4 and then go back to 1.6.1 once, it can be ignored.. but if u keep doin it over and over again, if mods are vigilant like in what.cd or BCG, it can look suspicious. It wont matter much on sites where mods are lazy ex. TL, HDT etc
