yes.. porn is taboo in indian culture.. it is considered a matter of great shame if a girl indulges herself in lewd films.. Indian families are by default are extremely conservative due to religious and some other social obstacles like u correctly analysed.. although there has been a lot of western influence off late but sex still remains a taboo in public.. so much so that leaked sex tapes have lead to a lot of suicide cases

All porn is sh*t by default, I watched only three porn tapes. the first time when i was 15 years old, It was the first time to watch sexual relationship between a man and a woman lol, btw, it was a high school fellow who gave me the cd
The second was when i first joined IPT, downloaded a porn video by mistake, watched to the end but it wasn't good .. The third time was 6 months ago when i watched Kim kardashian sex tape on purpose which was quite hot.
Other than that, i watched about 10 (complete porn) movies but at least isn't considered porn.
The real depressing part about it is how porn producers exploit poverty and need in order to get people f*** in front of a camera ..Last year, i watched a documentary about the industry of amateur porn in the United-Kingdom which is a billion dollar industry showing how sick and wicked porn producers are (i forgot the title of it).

nope, its similar to any other entertainment genre concerning quality: roughly 75% is bad or below average and 25% is good or above average, with some adjustments depending on personal preferences/criticism
actually pr0n itself is rather benign for the most part, i'd say its not that much about exploitation (regarding the willingness of its acteurs) as it is a matter of decadence - for comparison, the exploitation of ordinary prostitutes (pimps, certain customers & co.) and especially sex slaves (masters, merchants, & co.) is a far more malignant occurrence
where there is demand, there is the industry (with all its dirty baggage), combined with governmental elements (with all its dirty baggage), whereas somewhat behind the scenes it is more or less accompanied by criminal underground (with all its dirty baggage) with combined/interconnected/overlapping interests/members/machinations
i doubt their sincerity, its more about money, fame, business, rivalry, exploring boundaries - after some time they become almost like automated robots, devoured by the industry, losing the excitement of early years, faking just to keep the show going and the cash flowing
