PES has the best graphics hands down but gameplay just doesn't do it for me. I think player movements are slow and they run funny. Prolly I have developed some love for fifa every year. PES fans might say otherwise but Konami takes best graphics all the same.

Online team play was 5-on-5 in FIFA 08, then 10-vs.-10 for a couple of years. This year the game will support true 11-vs.-11 matches - that means you finally get to play as the goalkeeper.

EA Sports confirmed the goalkeeper position and 22-player support in a statement from Gamescom 2010 earlier this morning. What's more, keepers will be available for the first time in "Be a Pro," the game's singleplayer career mode.

EA Sports' news release says "Be A Goalkeeper" will involve three difficulty levels that provide varying degrees of assistance - "assisted, semi-assisted, and fully manual."

"Experience the thrill of the one on one battle, making the great save from a free kick, punching balls safely out of danger, the pressure of the corner, and most importantly, keeping a clean sheet," the statement says. Goalkeepers will be available both in Be A Pro (Be A Keeper) and Virtual Pro 2.0, the persistent career mode that inserts and your created player across all game modes.

To pitch the new goalkeeper capabilities, EA Sports inked a deal with the Chelsea FC and Czech Republic goalkeeper Petr Čech. So be prepared to see more of him.

Additionally, the demo's drop date was given; it is Sept. 15 for the PS3, Sept. 16 for the Xbox 360 and PC. The demo will include six teams: Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Bayern Lverkusen, Lyon, and NY Red Bulls.

You really have to play the new ones, I agree that the old ones are bad but the new are better than PES (As naughtydog said; they run in a very funny way which makes the game unrealistic)

the biggest problem with FIFA series is that its too much scripted and predictable moments . PES will never give you any predictable moments as such . sometimes getting a hard fought 0-0 draw in PES gives you a satisfying feeling rather than getting 5-0 in legendary mode of FIFA .

EA’s Jens Uwe Intat has said FIFA will maintain its edge over PES again this year, due to the company’s focus on product quality.

Jens told MCV FIFA has continued to grow its market share over Konami for the last couple of years, which he says is a “result of EA choosing to work on fewer, bigger titles.”

“Our games just get better and better – we have a clearly superior product to Konami, which I think wasn’t the case in the previous generation,” he said.

“Consumers – and even journalists – have come to understand this and the improvements we make; that all adds up to building market share there.”

FIFA 11 releases on September 28 in the US and October 1 in the UK.

PES 2011 launches on October 8.

Fifa since 98 still best.Especailly 99-00 and 01 are the best ones.

Two years in development, the console game engine has been optimised for PC, delivering next-generation console-quality gameplay, game modes and visuals to FIFA 11 PC.

"The EA SPORTS FIFA franchise is committed to investing and innovating for PC and this is a watershed moment," said Executive Producer Kaz Makita. "We are delivering to FIFA 11 PC the high-quality gameplay, innovative game modes and stunning graphics that have made FIFA the highest-rated sports game on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and winner of over 50 sports game of the year awards."
