Waffles may not have scripts like you do , doesnt mean its "less awesome" than What.CD by ANY means . TL and IPT are the greatest private torrent trackers out there , appreciated by millions and they barely have any cheating scripts , if any .

So, it's best to let both sides to remain there and make a stand by themselves

About TL and IPT, I agree with you.

Note. There'll be always mindless cheater (cheat when not needed at all), mindless staff (randomly ban and/or suggest to global banning a banned user), and mindless seedboxer (seed only on popular torrents/torrrents that supposed to be a ratio building for low uploader) in every tracker

Most of those trackers(maybe all) i will give them freely(apart if i need any tracker) if i know u.

what.cd is not in the list.thanks on ur irc recruiting and giving invites for pu's and above which made what.cd to be not on the selling list.(which is good).

True but I'll add some note, what.cd isn't being sold because of the seller's account (admin from invite selling forum) was compromised when dedicated what.cd staff disguise themselves as buyer. The funny part is a few months ago, He lauded hard at what.cd staff's statement about catching invite seller in some blogs

He was freaked out and go so far as to change his username in his own forum

Its easy to get in FTN than iTS in the present situation(iTS staff will not accept the application its very difficult)

how come you think you can judge a person 'from above' based on almost nothing?

I'd imagine that gives you an idea as to how we feel then, having people judge us based on an ever slighter pretense. I think that what I said hit the mark pretty accurately to be honest, but assuming that you don't, I'll contend that I think that a lot of what is said is about us pretty inaccurate and spells even more pungently of arrogance, insolence and ingnorance.

I don't believe that the way to go about solving cheating is to post on here, preach my cause and hope to drag you into the light like a missionary. I don't think that a solution to cheating will be found on any one website, and if it was then I don't think it would be here either. Nor I do believe that there's much we could do to make you guys stop cheating the system. In our opinion cheating hurts the swarm, not to mention that aggressively fighting it (whilst enjoyable) also means that people are less likely to take that route. That may not seem like much, but it does a lot. As soon as people know that cheating is acceptable, is easy to do, then I'd hazard a guess that a fair few more might take that route. A lot of sites almost rely on the fact that, whilst in our small microcosm of BitTorrenting cheating seems like a big deal, the vast majority of people don't know about it, nor do they care. Once they started to realise they could, I wouldn't be surprised is seeds began to drop. People love instant gratitification.

Now then, I don't think we can get you guys to be completely honest, in the same way that we won't tell you about our scripts, you won't tell us about your dupe accounts and so on. That's understandable, and reasonably considering the situation. Which of course begs the question, if I don't want to convert you into model Torrenters, and I don't want to preach, what do I want to do? That's where I think some of you have got lost. This is all a game, it's all fleeting. In thirty years time we'll remember these trackers with nostalgia, but it'll be what we downloaded (and the communities) that'll stick closest to our hearts. Honesty, I can easily live without that. What should be here though is respect. We respect the ones who can avoid our traps, and I hope we've earnt a small amount of respect for our scripts. In most sports one is expected to at the very least shake the hand of their opponent, so that's what we're doing.

as i wrote once, i wouldn't say cheating is good or fair but it is extremely harmless compared to the countless possibilities of copyright violations trackers provide
imho that is the real 'cheating' so we would be those who cheat the cheaters ...

I shall say two things. Firstly, as long as you're still privy to those copyright violations then I believe it's harder to pass judgement. And secondly, even if we are (I'm not so sure that what we do is always a black or white moral decision, nor I do think that a lot of what we do causes harm) thieves, then I believe that even thieves need a code.

You completely misread my answer.

It's in the human nature to want things fast and without effort. In real life, if there was a way to get unlimited money and without consequences, everyone would use it. I would use it. It sure as hell would be a lot easier than having to work 10 hours a day to earn money to be able to survive. However, most people don't do it because they don't want to go to jail.

Cheating is the same. It sure sounds a lot easier than having to seed your downloads and upload torrents in order to survive. However, most people don't do it because they don't want to lose their account.

If you let people cheat freely, most will do it, because that's just how human beings work. But cheaters don't have to seed their torrents nor do they have to upload torrents. We have 870,000 torrents from only 130,000 users, which is absolutely amazing. That figure wouldn't be anywhere as good if users were allowed to alter their stats as they wanted.

I don't think it's that hard to understand.

The majority of it? We have 47,000 non music torrents. Waffles.fm have about 20,000.

That's about 280,000 music torrents on waffles vs. 820,000 music torrents on what.cd. If you still think that isn't worth anything, then I don't know what to tell you.

hehe, and you didn't take this fact in consideration that you have 130.000 members and irc interview open while waffles has 60.000 members and to get an invitation there is very hard in terms of finding invites.This has nothing to do that you're good at catching cheaters.
