Hey! So is anyone having a slow video loading? I can't get speed over 100kb/s! It's like this for two weeks now!
My connection to youtube is good
dont ban me just spank me
anon, but still, until two weeks ago if I watched a video it would load with my full speed, sometimes even 150kB/s, but not is just slow!
My speed is 1mbps, and I didn't change anything on my FF. I think Flash Player updated last week!
I guess 1Mbps, anon is right it is 128KBps.
How do you know the buffering speed of YouTube was 150KBps? - What app you used to determine speeds?
Take a few tests(you may try different but near locations)on Speedtest.net to determine your real downoload and upload speeds(do not use Google Chrome to perform the test).
Flash Player 10.1.85.3 September 20 release was a major security update so it should be ok unless update went wrong.
Flash Player 10.2.161.23 Preview 2 September 27 is also a major security update so it should be ok unless update went wrong.
Best flash performance i got on Opera 10.62 or newer and Chrome 6 or newer. - What is your i watch YT browser?
Well, I know my speed gets to 150kB/s cuz I'm downloading right now something is speed is way over 128kB's!
I watch YT with FF 3.6.10, and I tried with latest Opera and I get the same speed. Just close to 100kB/s, never more!
So you may try to mess with Flash in that case:
1 *Just in case reboot
2 *do not run browsers after reboot
3 Uninstall (Flash for other browsers and *just in case flash for active x) or run 10.2 uninstaller
4 install 10.2 test version
5 if worked ok fixed if not go to 6
6 go to 1 to 3 and install flash 10.1 (stable)
7 if 6 was not helpful this is not flash related
10.1 (stable)
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flas..._player_ax.exe
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flas...ash_player.exe
10.2
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/l...vex_092710.exe
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/l...gin_092710.exe
10.2 uninstaller removes all 10.1 or 10.2 versions

In worst scenario you will get nothing and loose few minutes of time in best you may fix the problem
Tried with the above, but still the same!
If it abhout 100kBps and you got 128+kBps connection just let know ISP that there are some problems. I do not have any other ideas.
Gonna ask on some local forums and see if anyone with the same ISP has this problem!
