can i get information about hdmi cable?

hi everyone

i bought nvidia 9400 gt 1gb graphic card before some months..
i got hdmi port after it i bought samsung 32 inch series 5 tv

now i want to play games & wanna see movies on my new tv with hdmi cable

& i want to know which hdmi cable is good?
1.)hdmi to hdmi
2.)hdmi to video/audio input

also which cable company is best to buy?

1 more question it also if hdmi to hdmi cable can only transfer video and audio or only video??

hdmi cable transfers both video and audio.
go for HDMI cables..

Your can use a HDMI-HDMI-Cable if your grafic card has a hdmi-port.
Otherwise you use the DVI-HDMI adapter or a DVI-HDMI cable.

With the first and second solution the transport of audio data with hdmi is possible if you use a digital audio cable from your sound card/motherboard to the grafic card.
(Because NVidia has native sound support only since GTX4xx)

With the third solution or without this sound cable you only have video.

PS: You only can use stereo or the native AC3/DTS-Audio with a maximum bitrate of 640kBit/s.
Multichannel audio is only possible with a DolbyDigital Live chip. (or DTS Connect)

i understand..i have nvidia 9400 gts i dont know it has sound support or not..

what happen if i want to hear of game sound with head phone or sound speaker or i can send audio wires to tv to hear music?any idea about it?

hdmi to hdmi cable i understand it ..i want to buy ANYNET'S HDMI CABLE my tv supports that cable..but i dont know about sound thing mainly..thats main problem
