    Unhappy Transmission and bind-address-ipv4

    Hi.

I have internal IP adress and my ISP give me external IP address but as an option. I must use this option:

On uTorrent I use "IP Hostname to report to tracker".
On rtorrent I use "IP = xxxxxx ".

    Transmission have this option?

My friend told me that Transmission have "bind-address-ipv4" option but if I add my external IP adress to bind-address-ipv4 Transmission start but do nothing. Connected to tracker, get statistics and just stop No any errors.

    Why? Any idea?

99.99% of trackers don't care about that option.

I'm not familiar with "global NAT by default with a separate, extra charged WAN IP" ISPs, but first of all, I'd recommend you run uTorrent and do a port check. If it says you're connectable, and shows you this "external" IP you're talking about, you won't need to worry about anything.

No anon. I am not connectable. When I go to What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address "Your IP Address Is: 91.196.xxx.xxx" but my addtional external IP is 89.xxx.xxx.xxx.

It is strange beacuse my ISP have special support for p2p! For example give us 20 Mbit/s to all services and speed up to 40 Mbit/s for p2p for free On the one hand accelerates P2P for free, on the other hand does not give us external ip permanently
