Imo first 2 season was amazing. after season 4 I didn't watch it.

the break may be good for getting an overview on the series, to see what went wrong with it, does it make sense to continue and so on, without being pressed with time limitations/constraints

but then again, there aren't many series that managed to stay fresh after some 7,8 seasons, so i guess it will be tough for 24 to keep up a satisfactory level of entertainment - hopefully they'll manage to reinvent themselves

comparing season 8 with the rest would be enough to see where they should improve a bit.
but anyway the standard is still very high so even season 8 beats most other series imho

I really like first two season great story,Great acting and lot's of politics..
After that it always felt same to me..
Anyway it's new start for JACK to do with future..
