    I only watched a retail dvd on my pc.Yes the beginning was annoying but I felt like I contributed to the film by buying it.

    I thought for example, if you use WMP to play the DVD, you can just...select the next chapter? Can't really remember. Been quite long since I watched a DVD...

    Try to use Cyberlink's PowerDVD in combination with AnyDVD.
    That should be fine.
    Please check the Settings-Section in Anydvd, there will be also the option for skipping the Intro etc.
