Cheating on demonoid

You guys still arguing what is the best method to get banned on demonoid..?

I think we're trying to see what the limits of demonoid are. I havnt read anything about IP banning so even if we were to be banned for flashing 1tb (thats if u will get banned ) you could easily reregister.

As long as it isn't a pack it's okay.

I don't think Demonoid even takes note of this, but better safe than sorry... add the ease of seeding and I could upload 600GB from my home connection, so if your account is old enough there shouldn't be any problem.

Does anyone know when Demonoid hands out invites? And if its a regular thing. Not that its needed atm cos they are open almost 1/2 of the month last and today lol

Demonoid as far as I know, doesn't 'hand' them out. You just generate them when needed, but there's a limit, which I havnt found out yet.

they say its done monthly and when avaliable but month has ended and now a new month has started. But the reason we havent got any new invites is because of the almost always open policy so far.

but when it was closed almost most of the time and invite most of the time what, my questioin is what was the frequency that they handed out invites and when. Of course its the case that demonoid allowed people to generate the invites so its like handing them out.

Exculy I think tah Demonoid is more open then private tracker so thay dont take attention on user statistics

If some tracker is easy to maintain ratio that is Demonoid

btw I love demonoid because that is my first "private" torrent tracker back in 2003

It's just like GotIt said, you could generate an indeterminate amount of invite codes. I never reached the limit.

Since the torrents don't have a passkey embebbed, how do they know from which account are you downloading/uploading?

In the faq it mentions that to get a accurate annonce u should login. this I think would mean they keep tabs on IP and use that to id u.

So, that means anyone not member on the tracker could download from it right? He just needs the torrent file.

If u have noticed Demonoid doesnt really care about ratio so they dont really take precaustions like some trackers to make exactly sure of who is dl/ul

this allows them to save on bandwidth and cpu time also allows them to allocate those resources for vistors. Altough they dont keep perfect tabs and dont really care, u can still use them to test out cheating methods
