Yea he has XP. I remember when I was installing mine a few years ago, there was always like "15 minutes to go" but one minut was like 2 or 3 in reall life

but really the tweaking of the system and software is a bastard to do.

yoco dude if you feel that it is really a pain in the bum to do it but you can't not help him cos hes your cousin. Then make him watch you whilst your helping him to fix the computer. The longer you make it and the more boring it is the more he will try harder not to stuff things up next time

I guess he could use one of those many tweaking and optimizing programs and apply them quickly. Personally, I prefer Regedit.
