BS is a mac tracker and has everything related. also a nice collection of add-ons for audio apps and iphone stuff e.g.
file wise it's the best mac tracker although they don't allow pre-releases.

- BS is the oldest mac site afaik. founded in 2004 they were closed for some time but re-opened in 2008 (fall i think). in the meantime some of their staffers left and founded a new mac site: Vortex.
- as mentioned already file wise it's the best mac site. its userlimit is almost always reached and the amount of active users is high as well. the speed is good and many torrents are very well seeded. therefore it's not so easy to seed there. they've even lowered the min. ratio lately.
- if you can't find an invite you could give their uniqü invite system a try. instead of irc interviews you can send them a profile link to one of a certain number of sites. with some luck you'll have an invite in your inbox after about 2 weeks.
- every user has a number of themes to choose from. also there has been a design contest lately but the winners are not yet in the drop down menu's list.
- the community is about average. the index page has the usual happy holidays messages and stuff and every so often there're some games and contests. not to forget the polls of course. i'd say the forum activity is medium.
- uploading is free for all but you have to obey the uploading rules of course.
- even if you're not using osx the collection of iphone and audio stuff is nice if you're interested in that.
Cheating
let's come to the important part finally
- cheating there is not very hard. they don't have many scripts as it seems and they're also not too keen on looking into things too much so you can get away with quite some things.
- they have no peerlist but the snatchlist is very detailed. the columns are: type, name, time alive, size, seeders, leechers, client, time spent, announced, left, uploaded, downloaded, ratio.
- anyway the leecher count is always low so you can't use too high speeds there unless you hit stop in time. flashing small amounts dös also work but think of the detailed snatchlist.
- also almost all torrents are repacked or extracted or modified in some other way so don't go in as seeder even if you have the content in some form.
