Oh, oh. Better use LINUX.
eh, hehe, now i'm lost :tongü:
let me summarize:
you did visit the website with a 'normal' proxy and that gave the warning?
or: you used RF and got the warning because of that?

I use OpenDNS, but that wouldn't matter. That's something that a lot of people use.

I was using default RF settings while using OPENdns.
Something that I do all the time.
I really am not sure how they detected my use of RF...if that is what they detected.
CorrectioN: I don't think that the site detected the use of a cheating tool per se.
I am only going to take a guess here.
Maybe it was the use of the Port that RF uses and they happen to have that blacklisted?? Maybe that is how...Overall, I am not sure how I got detected, but all I can state is that inside my client, the message was clear:
"We have detected you using a proxy. Please contact an admin"
"God, from the mount Sinai
whose grey top shall tremble,
He descending, will Himself,
in thunder, lightning, and loud trumpet’s sound,
ordain them laws".

they can't see the port that RF is using because it dös only exist within your lan since you did not forward that port.
the message you got dös indeed not look like they'd have detected RF but a general proxy or some kind of re-routing.
i think we can say RF is safe.
Your account has been disabled.
If he has a router, that is. I think their scripts can check if you have port 8282 (RF's default) open, and disable your download privileges with the "anti proxy" excuse.
In this case, just change the port in RF's settings as well as the proxy ones in uT to a higher one (40000-60000), clear cache, cookies, change your IP, and reregister at STM.
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
No.
Nothing I did was incorrect.
I also don't use port forwarding as there is no need for me to do so.
I mean, I can change the ports in both software clients. Maybe that'll make a difference. But I doubt it...(well, maybe ...??).
Like I guess'ti-mated' above. Maybe they do have port 8282 blacklisted over at supertorrents.

Surprisingly the signup method still works, thought they would remove it after the one day but I guess not.
