I would undoubtedly suggest the Orpheus headphones. They only cost a measly $40,000. The great thing about them is that the contacts are gold resulting in a minimum signal loss since that is one of your criteria. Output is about 118 db. That should be enough to blast anyone's ears. Ebay might have a couple.

I am having a Sennheiser HD201 which has a very good clarity & soundstage. Never tried Bose, since they are way too expensive !

Since yesterday I have this weird issue: parts of some sites fail to load, every time. I can access the homepage of Scroogle or TV Tropes so they're both up, but if I tried to do a search or read an article, the connection just times out. Using proxies work fine. I've already tried restarting the modem and router.
