Maybe it was down for awhile as there doesn't seem to be much problem for the front page to load up and henceforth to log into the site. Sometimes that seems to happen with some sites. Any number of reasons might occur such as the tower needing a quick clean inside of it or some kind of inadvertent disconnection or maintenance of the server's settings that mistakenly put it off-line for a short while. Oh and yes, you definitely do need to place in the 'www'. Quite important as leaving that out for sure does not bring up the site itself.

It's often the same thing with SCC and www. No idea why it makes a difference, maybe it's a Web server thing.

Yep, here's the official announcement from one of the sysops:
After three years CoExist has closed it's doors. We started the first ratio-less music tracker, and at our peak we were at 7k users and almost 10k torrents; not bad for a small community focused tracker. However, after an attacker deleted our site and used our server to send out phishing infected trojan emails designed to steal people's bitcoins, we had no choice but to close the doors. In addition to that our backups were also compromised, so with reluctance and a heavy heart, we have decided to close the site.
It was a good run and we had some fun. Thanks to everyone who supported the site over the years
Hmm, looks like hdtracker.ru isn't reachable at the moment...
Anyone here with further details why?
