Hab mir als Gothic Freak natürlich (nach Gothic 1,2,3) auch das spiel Risen besorgt und will euch einen kleinen einblick dafür geben.

meine persönliche Erfahrung dazu:

Risen ist ein Rollenspiel das man als "ableger" zur Gothic serie nennen kann, im vergleich zu Gothic 3 aber auf jedem fall bugfrei

So viel Gothic steckt in Risen
Nach dem Gothic 3-Debakel von 2006 melden sich die Essener Entwickler Piranha Bytes mit Risen zurück, einem Versuch, die erboste Fan-Basis wieder zu besänftigen. Doch obwohl das Kind einen anderen Namen trägt, kann Risen seine Gothic-Wurzeln nicht verleugnen. Wie gewohnt entwarf Piranha Bytes eine raue, glaubwürdige, aber auch deutlich kleinere Welt, die voll gepackt ist mit echten Typen, also keinen 0815-NPCs. Als namenloser Held stranden Sie zu Beginn des Abenteuers auf einer Insel, wissen aufgrund von Gedächtnisverlust jedoch nicht, wo Sie sind und weswegen überhaupt. Alles ist eben genau so, wie man es aus den Quasi-Vorgängern kennt.

Das Spiel selbst hat eine eher langweilige Story für meinen Geschmack wird aber durch eine hervorragende Grafik und viele Charaktere wettgemacht.
Risen ist als übergangsgame zu Gothic 4 auf jedem fall zu empfehlen.

Wer von euch hat das Spiel und was meint ihr darüber?

schau dir dragon age an das soll eine bessere story haben und qualitativ kann man sich bei Bioware sowieso nicht beschweren.

Dragon Age origins,spiele ich derzeit,es ist einfach geil, 10 punkte

es gibt noch das spiel "Divinity 2 Ego Draconis" was recht ähnlich zu risen sein soll habe es aber selbst nicht gespielt.

It is something i would like to call like Gothic 2 deluxe, you might enjoy it but is is not the same, climax itself is a bit exploited.

Graphics in Risen was nearly the same quality as it was in Gothic 3, so not fancy.

The good thing Risen is not too long to play.

Divinity 2 Ego Draconis seems to be dull quite much like Diablo series or Darkstone.

IF you got too much time i'd recommend Dragon Agerigins, the bad about DAO that full run takes about 80 to 90 hours of play which might be too much for many.

For now we got plenty of news about Gothic 4World of Gothic

Oh and one more thing I would Rate Gothic 3(with all those bugs it had) over Risen, would you agree Tornado?

I played through it a while ago. I was a fan of the first two Gothic's, and found Risen to be pretty good, though incredibly similar.

I'm just a little sad they haven't improved on their system a little.
