It's b'coz of director may be..He's directed movie in past was good but not that great..For example take a You Don't Mess with the Zohan has a great start after sometime it's become flat

Watched it a few days ago! I wasn't expecting much but I have to admit the movie was pretty solid! Had great actors and a few good laugh scenes!
