I made a similar post some time ago. About the site being very, very slow.
From the time I type in the URL it takes from 40sec to over a 1 minute to see the start page. I'm not alone in this. I have friends in other countries having the same problem. This has nothing todo with my/our browsers. Its the route here or you servers.
I agree with the above post.Me too facing the same problem.The load times are relatively slower.
Yes, here too for a few days.
For me SB-I does take a while to load the first time I visit it. But once I'm in, it loads lightning-fast for being on the other side of the world.

I have to say I get slow site loading too sometimes.
i always found it to open slowly.....but it's Ok....
Hmm...it loads very fast with SRware Iron though I've had my own problems in the past with Firefox..

But like anon said once you load 1 page it starts to load faster...
not exactly lightning fast.. it goes from taking 2 minutes to load the page down to about 1 minute per page once the images are cached.
I think the slow page load times are not related to the servers location but more due to the amount of sql queries being run to load mere forum pages. I see 60 queries and 40 queries and 25 etc...
More than 4 per page is a bit ridiculous if you ask me. Whoever codes this forum (Not intended as a pun against SBI staff...) obviously doesn't know too much about optimizing queries.

Firefox mainly. But I tried it in opera, safari, and IE as well.
Loads equally as slow.
Hmm strange...There are two possibilities:
1.SRware Iron as a chrome clone is fast.
2.I have a great connection

I'm using SR Iron latest version and it's slow at the beginning then a little better later, but I don't mind the extra time.
