BBC News: Al-Qaeda claims Saudi prince bomb

I think that the prince was having a light snooze when this all happened.

Al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing by a militant who wanted to give himself up to Saudi Arabia's security chief....The prince ( security chief) was slightly injured in the assassination attempt.

Saudi Arabia has a policy of allowing wanted militants to return to the kingdom for rehabilitation....The man had said he wanted to personally tell the prince in his Jeddah interior ministry office that he would give himself up.

    It's a very short read.

depending on how you read it, it could contain some bits of humor in it.

    check it out, though.

Here's the link for the full brief:

i'll just respond to the quote:

    1. LOL, how can a suicide bomber pass all the security on his way to the chief? an inside job maybe, since no security would be that incompetent...hopefully

    2. there are many hints that al-qaeda doesn't actually exist, that its just a virtual decoy used for giving reasons why some military action is executed or to have an arch-villain towards whom everyone can point their finger and blame for their mishaps, while in the meantime the real culprits are hidden from the public eye and can continue with their vicious plans

I completely have to agree with you, slikrapid. How is it possible for a known terrorist to get to the prince close enough to blow his brains to bits. Definitly not very good security. Maybe your right about it being an insider's job.

You know, slikrapid.....there are many things on this earth that we just don't see everyday or don't know about.

I know...I've mentioned this sort of thing before...and I'm sure your aware of it as well b/c we've discussed it several times before.

And with the idea that Al-Queda being a ficticious organization....who knows, yes??

In the end...it's all about what lurks in the upper echelons of power.

yes, we were talking about information overload in general, where valid information mix with false or half false and where the originators of information might have their own agenda for spreading of the aforementioned

sure, many things are hidden yet someone mentioned the best hiding place is the obvious one, in plain sight so to speak...to confirm the above once again: it could be....but, who knows for sure, right?
