Installation:
1. Download and install Azureus (if this is a Beta/CVS update, download the latest NON BETA release) (Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download).
2. Optional: If you want to make a backup of your old Vuze version. Go to the install directory and rename Azureus2.jar to Azureus2.jar.bak
3. Extract the RAR using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus) and overwrite ALL files.
4. Run Azureus and Enjoy!

Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads).
2. You have removed the Azureus folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
3. You have removed the Azureus folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Azureus for XP
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Azureus for Vista
4. Reinstalled Azureus using the package from Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download
5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded RAR.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Azureus settings.


Single Exe version (All in One)
Single Exe version doesnt need Vuze installed on your PC just download, extract and run the exe. Only java is needed to be installed.

Additional Info:
You can upgrade from a previous version seamlessly - your torrent list will not be lost.

Any chance we could have this speed mode++? It would be very useful for people who fake with the show as seeder option since the ratio is at ∞ when you jump in as 100% completed.

The stop faking when the ratio is reached won't work if you fake on a torrent that you did not download because the ratio shown is infinity ∞

Most of my Vuze Extreme faking are jumping in directly as a seeder (100% completed speed mode++). I also use the stop when swarm speed is zero, but there are instances i overfake a little because of the ∞ ratio.

i dont use vuze right now, cause 4.2.0.7 nor 4.2.0.5 do work
but transmission works without any problems and i already read in the vuze forums that this has to be a bug by the "latest" vuze version. nothing with sb mod

loocking in the commit log they did something with the osx part maybe the newest beta will work for you on friday.

I have Installed Vuze version 4.2.0.4 stable. Then have copied files found in SB-I_Hack_Azureus2_4.2.0.7_B01_DDJ folder except plugins folder to vuze main folder. Then added sb-I plugins folder contents to the contents of vuze plugins folder. And nothing worked for me.

If you're wondering why it doesn't fake, you're Peer/Seed ratio is less than 10%, that's why.

thanks anon & shoulder for your fast responses. So are you advising that I turn Peer/Seed ratio to zero. or wait until it finish downloading then the peers would be more than seeds. And are you sure that my Installation steps are correct.

Well, setting both "stop increasing the fake upload when you are connected to less than X peers OR having a peer/seed ratio lower than X%" values will make the mod always fake - regardless of how many leechers! You could either reduce the values, or keep an eye on what's going on.

You installed the mod correctly, no problems there.

Enable the Fake Upload Speed column. If the speed raises above 0.0kB/s, it's faking.
