Post Windows Tiny7 – A Windows 7 ISO that fits on a single CD?

If you have been trying out the soon to be released OS Windows 7 (which is already leaked), you might have noticed that it comes in a DVD image that usually exceeds 2GB in file size (installation on HDD takes much more). Would you believe it if I told you there is a Windows 7 version that fits on a single CD (700MB)? Yes, there is - Windows Tiny7 is a severely hacked (or chopped) version of Windows that is based on Windows 7 Ultimate x86 build 6.1.7600.16385 RTM. As you might have guessed, this is not an official Microsoft release – it’s a 3rd party, custom release made by an individual/group which goes by the name ‘eXPerience’.

eXPer1ence has already released a modded Windows 7? That's good, I have always been a fan of his rips.

eXPer1ence knows the way around microsoft OSes. I've never been disappointed yet by his Vista and XP releases. I've been holding off on Win 7 because of lack of feedback. I guess it's time to take the plunge with a time-tested pro.

As you are all recommending this eXPer1ence guy, I should give a try then. Hope it's not too striped down though.

You can always read the description before downloading. He clearly states what he's removed, and the programs that work (or not) with it.

He generally has good judgement about not removing what is needed unlike some others that release modded OSes.
