    Mozilla Firefox 3.5

Was ist neu in Firefox 3.5

    Breaker
You can also try nightly build at: Index of /pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly

I use 3.6a1pre without problems but no real innovation for the moment (never before a2pre or a3pre).

If it wasn't for the browser crashing most of the time, I would tend to think it's not too bad. Sadly, I've had to return to v3.0

Most of the extensions that I have while I ran 3,5 had to be disabled.

It's nice that FF finally, and I mean.....finally got faster.

It's the extensions and themes that one has that slows the thing down. Even IE and Opera run faster than FF.
Puts it right to shame for crying out loud :(

And that's being said that no-one in thier right mind, when it comes to security and all the bells and whistles that FF offers, would use IE.

Like I mentioned. If it wasn't for it crashing on every single instance, even when loading right up, it would be a good browser.

    Oh, oh. Better use LINUX.

it's strange, firefox (3.5 and/or older ones) never crashed for me... maybe you use a lot of add-ons and there are some incompatibilities or conflicts...

    add-ons??

Only about 1/2 dozen and 1 theme.

That's a far cry from some people who carry about 15-20 add-ons on thier FF browser.

And with respect to incompatiblilities: I'd say there are tonnes.

Adblock Plus doesn't even get enabled by 3.5........it gets disabled as I recall. TabPlus too, as well as INterclue.
And IF interclue get's disabled. ......That's it.......... I"m not gonna be a nice guy anymore

It either loves me where I feed it, bath it, love it, talk to it....what-ever it takes.

    SEriously, man........
If it don't start behav'in when it grown up to 3.5, then I don't know man. I guess we're gonna get a divorce or something. LOL.

that's interesting, b/c that was the same behavior I had experienced as well.

And as soon as it started, BANG!!!....same thing all over again with one crash following another immediately post start-up.

    Too damn annoying, I'd say.
When it get;s that annoying, the thing is off,of my HDD.
