hehe what source are you getting this from "Hollywood decided to not use asian actors again"? The last time I heard JC was Chinese.

I was referring to movies that come from scripts which have asian aspects (DBZ, TLA etc)

If you're talking about Avatar cartoon, then let me tell you that it's american cartoon and not asian.

I know the cartoon was made by Nickelodeon and is in fact American, but when watching the cartoon, it seemed obvious to me that the characters were asians, especially since many aspects of it were based on asian ones (such as the concept of elements).

It's not from a source but I don't really see that as an opinion; Movies/shows/animes etc like Dragon Ball Z and Avatar: The Last Airbender are closely related to many ancient asian civilisations and should be portrayed as such.

It's just that the way the casting turned out, I find it a tad bit racist. I know they are after the moniez but I don't believe asians were given a fair go from the start.

Haha yeah, it was nice when I got the news that they decided to add Dev Patel into the cast; it does redeem the movie a bit.

If one of my friends ever gets this, I might get it off them; I still want to see Appa in action.

This movie is gonna be a good one but not Groundbreakng, may rake up the moolah with music and aesthitically shot scenes.

Though the trailers seem pretty nice, I'm still somewhat wary of it. Never had a good cartoon to live action as far as I know.
