Didn't see that one coming, great news though. Invites will be given away soon ^^The price for an invite has been lowered to 250p from 500p (bonus points) and to be able to use your invites you now have to be HD Addict or higher (lowered from HD Collector).

It's not that great, really. I found much of what was on SceneHD on other trackers. HDBits seems to be the best these days.That's one reason
There are better places. Because of its outdated quality and size limitations, Scene HD releases suck and will keep on sucking, until they update their standards.

a lot of people prefer scene hd encodes because of the smaller file size and better subtitle availability.
Of course there are still uses for those, I'm just saying that their quality often leaves a lot to be desired.

I agree with GAPO on the issue of content SceneHD, lost to the far HDBits
All of their content is ripped by the Scene...Do they allow upload usermade rips?

On a sidenote I looooooovee high level private trackers like SCENE HD which have a stats based userclasses promotion like other low level trackers...
To get invites one must be member of the site for 8 weeks and upload atlest 250 GBs...Thats it..No asking the staff or bending over backwards and showing them your collection and some such sht like that...
The moment I got the invite (hat tip to vvtwx ) and saw that these were the requirements,I decided to harvest the invites...
Over at FST I saw someone offering FTN for SCENEHD...wtf?!!!?
