I'm confused by this, so if you manually stop the torrent it will still update your speed to your snatch list? If that's the case then updating normally with a low speed is only in situations where the tracker has a snatch list? Otherwise it wouldn't matter because you wouldn't show up in the peer list either way, correct?

What determines how high of an upload you can use when using the WM? the tracker's scripts? I would guess it's pretty much the exact same thing as flashing, just over a longer period of time instead of a few seconds.

The Waffles method was thought with, well, Waffles in mind. They have a snatchlist which records lots of details about every torrent you've ever touched. By seeding a lot with 0 upload, the average upload speed is reduced, and eventually it looks nothing like the one you entered in your favorite cheating program.

A very nice site bug once caused the seeding time to immediately jump to 40000+ days, dropping upload to 0.01KB/s

So basically the WM is only a way to prevent high speeds from being displayed on the snatchlist? Does WM help with anything if a tracker doesn't have a snatchlist?

Even tough a snatchlist isn't visible to you in a given tracker, it doesn't necessarily means it's not there for the admins and staff. So in this case it also helps.

I'm using the WM of mRatio v5.2 and using "let torrent run until it reaches update time" and "seed the torrent normally (disable WM)" always displays the average speed in the tracker peelist. To appear as 0 speed in peelist, it it necessary to do at least one start-and-stop, right?

Right now the torrent finishes way faster than its update time.

I downloaded the xyz torrent file and i opened it in mratio 5.4 (with memory reader) with upload speed 1.2MB/sec to 1.4 mb/sec, i stopped the torrent 2 min before update and i restarted the torrent with 0kb upload but in the peerlist upload speed rate is shown as -5,000 kB/s. I uploaded almost 3 gb on the torrent but that is also not shown in peerlist, it shows 0kb uploaded, and the seeding time is also wrong. How can i fix this? will i get banned? I'm seeding the torrent at 0kb/sec now.

continue to seed at 0 kbps. Sometimes it takes time for the server to show the uploaded data shown by the torrent program. u'll be safe. and there is a bug in waffles peerlist . It happened with me too.
and never mention the name of the torrent file u downloaded.
u have mentioned everything here.. name of the torrent + amount of data upload + speed and time too. its risky if some staff member saw this info

Ok. i got scared seeing the huge negative speed, im seeding the torrent at 0 kbps in mratio now.

Edit : the negative speed got fixed, but the seedtime is showing wrong value, its like 30mins whereas in mratio ive been seeding for 2 hrs.
