Yes, it does. But since you're restarting the torrent, traffic won't show up in the peerlist. Which is what matters.

why use vuze when you can use rm (faster - easier ) ,,, it's just too simple .. try it and you won't regret it

pal why stop , after the update 5 - 6 minutes just change the upload to 0 kb and youre done , if the download size is large u can change the upload speed after the update until the downloading is done then change upload speed to 0 and leave torrent in rm running for 2 days at least

Thanks anon for being extremely clear. So from what I understand, you stop before an update just so that the high speeds don't show up on the peer lists right? And when u finally update, you do so with a low speed so that it looks good on the peer list? This sounds fine.
But I do have one real doubt, when I continue to seed(at a lower speed) after I'm done cheating why do I need to set the download speed to some value ( eg. 256kbps according to previous posts) and why can't I set it to 0 and continue seeding? I say this because as long as the upload speed is gradually being averaged out why should I bother about the download speed, after all I would be done downloading quite a while back with my own speed.
Also, I read somewhere that this whole thing is a lot riskier for Packs, could you explain why? thanks
