it seemed kinda lifeless, uninteresting, aggressive & deceptive - actually it can be viewed as a training tool to prepare the children for how the world operates, in the sense to turn them into well-performing puppets, just like the toys do it in the movie - could be the worst sequel story-wise and the best graphics-wise, a repeating pattern among the current remakes and sequels

lol, another sbi user asked me the same thing not too long ago, so here's the answer:

why wouldn't there be? seems you have mixed up 'criticism' with 'dislike', what i do is point out some of the obvious, some of the expected, some thoughts on the subject or related ones, some experiences and so on - as for the abundance of criticism towards the industry, they have certainly deserved it, as what is being sold under the 'entertainment' label is way too often something completely different than what one might expect or want to receive over and over again

proof: my top 10-ish favorite movies:

Don't get me, I didn't mix up 'criticism' with 'dislike', I just think I never saw you write something positive, so I wonder what kind of movies you like!

And from that list of yours I see both of us have a lot of movies in common!

I actually saw those posts, but I was thinking in a way that you would say "wow, this movie is freaking fantastic"

ah, well, gotta admit that just a few dozen of movies (fi. matrix or lord of the rings) would cause such an excitement
