I'll try, but I doubt I'll understand any of this
Ok noob explanation:
Use x64 only if you have 4 GB or RAM or more.
maybe it should be reversed
if you have more than 4gb RAM handy or are to buy choose x64 hardware and OS

dont ban me just spank me
Glad to know that..
I am 1 GB short in that case
x64 should be a lot faster on special demanding applications like Photoshop etc. right?
always the same dilemma is x64 OS versoin worth installing or not..
and still I don't have a clear answer!
In short
If you have the money always go x64.
Remember that harware and software req drivers need x64 versioin drivers. You will usually find it hard to find x64 drivers for old hardware and software.
dont ban me just spank me
i think long term x86 will be phased out
dont ban me just spank me
Don't forget there are many native x64 available applications.x64 should be a lot faster on special demanding applications like Photoshop etc. right?
Phototshop is one of them.
Thats right and Adobe also says the x64 version of photoshop is faster than the x86 one but uses more ram
dont ban me just spank me
That's why it's recommended to use x64 only if you have 4 RAM or more
