When you close RM using the "close button" it will save the settings for the next RM you open, but that closing RM must be the last instance.

You can't ask/request for RM features here as SB-I is not the coder RM, moofdev is, so maybe you could join their foruns and ask. But here we can help you with the usage and with the client emulations. So good luck.

Remember that the message is only shown when the RM is in the process of updating the tracker. If your dad closes the program while it's faking but not announcing, the behavior is the same as in older versions.

Just use the Close button at the bottom like alpacino said and they'll be saved automatically. The RM also remembers settings for every torrent you've loaded, not just the one that was active before you closed it.

Yes. The RM sends &event=completed when you hit 100%, just like a real client.

- use more than one instance of the RM ?
- download and "seed" the same torrent at the same using utorrent and ratiomaster at the same time ? (It seems like the announces would be fine except you would have more than normal from the same IP ?)

I previously used RatioFaker alot, but I got sick of the crashes from overloading it and the port problems because some trackers on my "utorrent list" require me to seed for long periods. Any input ? Feedback ?

Yes, as long as you use the memory reader.

There should be no problem as long as you use the same peer_id and key in torrents from the same tracker, and different IDs and keys in torrents from other trackers.

Don't do it, not at the same time! What you can do is:

• snatch the torrent in the real uTorrent
• wait a few minutes, then stop it
• close uT, wait 15 seconds, start it again
• load another torrent (the Ubuntu one, for example) and let it run for the RM to be able to read a new peer_id and key
• stop it and close uT
• after you've used the memory reader in the RM, load the torrent you've snatched and set the finished % to 100. You may now start it.

@Everyone: I have updated the first post. You'll see there are client files for Deluge (I'm undeniably late and I know it) and Transmission (yes, the version is old).

Use the memory reader!

You can get Deluge here - the process name should be simply deluge.

With Transmission it's a bit harder, since it isn't available for Windows. So there are two questions:

• How to use the memory reader?
• Check this. It's a "portable Ubuntu for Windows" which includes Transmission 1.06. You can run it, load a torrent, and then sniff the data. This is time-consuming, but the only real way to do it. (You could read the VM's process, but it uses large amounts of RAM)
  
  
• What to do if an admin asks he how come I'm using Transmission on Windows?
• Tell him something like this:
  

  I was doing some random surfing when I stumbled upon this: http://portableubuntu.demonccc.cloudius.com.ar/ and I've always wanted to try Linux, so I gave it a spin. Since I can max out my line at (insert tracker name here), Transmission can supposedly download up to twice as fast as uTorrent, and it's an allowed client, (note by anon: if it wasn't, why would you emulate it?) I tested it with a torrent from here.

You are certainly right ! I am glad I haven't tried it yet. I definitely did not think that one all the way through. I was just curious if their were more efficient method to my leech hunger. I need it all right now ! LOL

So if I put the torrent in utorrent first, and then let it seed, (already have the file), and I open ratiomaster and use the utorrent memory reader and fake my upload using utorrent will I get caught, or is this just as safe as the vuze mod?

@anonftw: if you do it in separate torrents you should be fine But if you mix things up, you're screwed. That's why I mostly wouldn't recommend this even if it's possible.

@bigpain2007: it's safe, but remember to stop the torrent in uTorrent and close it before clicking Start in the RM.
