Not really. TBH I wouldnt even check to see the referer.
The smart way of doing it would be just to see which ips loaded that image.

Headers can be spoofed. At least im smart about it.
If you just search the refer headers then you wont get as many people as searched for people who load the image alone

We only had it set for a certain limit of signups.
Needless to say Your gay ass signing up for your second account after the first 1 was banned made that limit.
