Anyone tried GT? It may still be undetectable.
Yes. I've used GT there. Worked fine. But last 1 week or so, I can see that GT doesn't modifying stats on any tracker. [HDBits.ro, TevTT, TL, TD those trackers from which I'm downloading currently.]. So today I started using mRatio.
I can see that GT doesn't modifying stats on any tracker.
Why is that?
1.Did you run GT as an admin?
2.Os shouldn't be a problem?
3.What uTorrent version are you using?
4.Is GT idle?
5.Some kind fo strange error?
6Works flawlessly but you can't see the results?
uTorrent 1.8.5
Yes, mostly idle. Some days before it was in 'working' state always. My friends are also facing the same problem. & I heard that GT is now no longer undetectable. I don't know whether it is true or not. Maybe someone GT user can throw some light on this.
Nearly all members on this forum are GT users.Yes GT is detectable..mostly because of the fixed value it sends to the tracker.Worked last time I tried it with uTorrent 1.8.5.Even worked with the 2 rc5
Is the torrent starting??
You know on windows 7 and vista instead of localhost you have to write 127.0.0.1

Usually I keep 'Proxy Server' : none . & once the seeds are connected, then I change it to: HTTP.
BTW, I have Win XP SP2.
Why not using the proxy from the beginning?

Tried GT without doing that?? Permanently leaving HTTP proxy on?Usually I keep 'Proxy Server' : none . & once the seeds are connected, then I change it to: HTTP.
Mostly it gives error:
'Hostname not found' / 'Connection refused by peer'.
So I wait initially.
hmm. But what thing amazed me is that my stats on any trackers are not updating at all.
Then assuming you've given them enough time just try something else...
"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
Now I'm using mRatio. Funny thing is that, I seeded some data on BS. My ratio got modified. But I saw my snatchlist & the torrent I seeded using mRatio says that Upload: 0.0
