Thread: What are your uTorrent statistics like?

  1. #31
The only thing real about my stats is the running time. Torrent files are well over 10000 to say at least.

With all the garbage they added to that program, this is actually a good question.

I barely use torrents nowadays and run an old version of uTorrent for them, so I'm not affected personally. But after using it since version 1.3 where the executable was something like 100 KB, it's seeing yet another example of gradual decay, tabletification and poor design that bothers me (and makes me rant every time, I know).

Did you stop downloading completely, or have you switched to another better system?

That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Not that they'd have gotten a lot out of my Intel GMA 3600.

I don't download too much (some music, the two TV shows I follow, updated Windows 7 ISOs to use at work and maybe a movie I heard good things about everywhere), and use warez forums to get what I want.

The good thing is that those services get through my work firewall, so I can pull 1.1 MB/s from Mega or Uploaded link generators through to the fiber connection if so desired

On invite forums, that used to be a common excuse for having little upload registered, before knowledge of how to fake these stats became widespread.

Thumbs up if you remember that in 2015
