Ich mache gerade meine ersten Gehversuche mit dem Torrent-Netzwerk (erst seit kurzem Breitband, zuvor nur Edonkey/Emule benutzt) und hätte da eine Frage, die hoffentlich noch nirgends beantwortet wurde.

Wenn ich "No Upload" einstelle, wird zwar in Azureus ein Upload < 1k angezeigt (Fake Upload 10-20k), soweit ok, der außerhalb des Programms gemessene Upload bewegt sich allerdings zwischen 7-10% der Downloadrate, also beispielsweise 60k down, 5k up.

Ist das noch im grünen Bereich, also reiner "Verwaltungs-Traffic"?

Zudem stürzt mir Azureus bei einem bestimmten Torrent ab, wenn ich dessen Eigenschaften aufrufe, der sich aber ansonsten normal verhält. Ein Löschen und neuerliches Einfügen bringt keine Abhilfe.

Also ein wenig Up ist normal weil du denn für Quellenanfragen usw. brauchst.
Das du ausserhalb von Azureus einen viel höheren Wert angezeigt bekommst ist merkwürdig.
Was zeigt die denn deinn Messtool an woher der Traffic kommt?

Auch Abstürze hab ich bei mir gar keine. Welche Azureus Version verwendest du denn?

Wenn der azureus abstürtzt sollte man unbedingt die neueste java version installieren

wegen den upload, man muss stark zwischen protokoll upload und upload an den peers unterscheiden, man kann es sogar in den einstellungen aktivieren das der protokoll upload unten neben den peers upload direkt angezeigt wird.

in der regel liegt dieser je nach menge der torrents bzw. anzahl der zu sich verbundenen peers zwischen 0,5 - 2 kb, je höher die globalen verbindungen desto mehr mehr traffic entsteht auch durch die kommunikation zwischen den clients

Ein Java Update von 1.6.0_01 auf 1.6.0_03 hat nichts gebracht, beim Aufruf der Detailansicht eines bestimmten Torrents verabschiedet sich Azureus nach wie vor. Aber solange das Programm ohne Interaktion stabil läuft, stellt das ohnehin kein Problem dar, ich war halt neugierig, ob das eine bekannte Marotte ist.

Zum per NetMeter gemessenen Upload ist noch soviel zu sagen, dass sogar ein 230kB/s-Download einen Upload von 9kB/s verursacht (alle Fenster bis auf Firefox-D/L-Manager geschlossen) und somit auch der bei Azureus verzeichnete (Protokoll-)Upload ok zu sein scheint.

Ich hatte bis vor kurzem noch ISDN und da kommt man auf den ersten Blick schon etwas ins Staunen, dass ein reiner Download per ADSL die komplette frühere Upload-Bandbreite (liegt nun bei 384kbps) in Beschlag nimmt.

Sonst könntest du noch versuchen den Azureus Einstellungsordner zu löschen bzw umzubenennen und ihm beim nächste Start neu generieren zu lassen. Dann must du zwar kurz deine Settings nochmal vornehmen, aber du hast wieder eine Fehlerquelle weniger, da das Programm oft Probleme mit gespeicherten Einstellungen von älteren Versionen hat.

Also die eingebauten Plugins zum Spoofen funktionieren bloß zum Tracker.

Wenn du das ganze machst wie unten beschrieben, mit dem AzureusSpoof.properties File, kannst du zwar nur andere Azureus Versionen emulieren, aber die werden auch korrekt zu den Peers gesendet.
