Thanks for this information. But settings.dat wasn't necessary for 3.1.3 (and there where no ads shown). Also, with this settings.dat, a whole lot of files where generated in the directory, where...

I updated from 3.1.1 to this newest 3.5.3 version and I recognize this annoying, empty advertisement plane between the menu and the icons...
