I have the same experience with stalled, relatively low-seed torrents, even when just downloading that single torrent. After switching to uTorrent (leecher mod) they download just fine. I have read...
In addition to clicking the "Thank" button, I'd like to say explicity thanks for still putting work into new releases and personal bugtracking & support. I have to admit I didn't really explect...
Well, stating the obvious, it would be nice if you'd continue the project sooner or later and keep the community updated.
BiglyBT 1.9 ist stable and mature, the torrent protocol isn't changing, so...
Maybe BiglyBT did a major refeactoring and the sweet days of copy-pasting code and release notes are over? :-o
I've tried AdoptOpenJDK 11 and 12, both x86 and x64, both Hotspot and OpenJ9 (x64 only) - all runing just fine on Win10 1809 LTSC x64 an x86 (though the os shouldn't make any difference). Java 12 is...
To be honest, I just discovered it myself, but seems to run fine so far for BiglyBt and JDownloader.
As it's basically a compiled OpenJDK, and that's the reference nowadays, I guess it should be...
Btw: Imho this is the Java to use: https://adoptopenjdk.net/releases.html
- available for all platforms and then some
- Java 8 to 12 (unlike Oracle including x86 Windows for 11+)
- installer or...
I've just been overwrite-updating for ages (including Vuze) and never had a problem yet.
But if the .torrent files appear to be lost look in %appdata%\BiglyBT\active for the .dat files :-)
They don't and they won't - I asked, but the jdk 11 sources seem to be made for x64 only.
But for current BiglyBT jre 10 x86 should be just fine and has a reduced memory footprint?
You need the...
No need for cloak and dagger, here's Java 9 and 10 in x86 - just copy to the jre folder inside BiglyBT: https://github.com/ojdkbuild/ojdkbuild/releases
The delete files feature is at least dodgy. If I set a small file to do not download or delete, it gets downloaded (partialy) in some cases because it's inside a block that belongs to multiple files....
When a torrent is finished, it moves to seeding and does change the status to checking - but is removed immediately.
Could be a bug and checking is really not complete complete before removal, or...
As the jre isn't around anymore, some disk space can be recovered from the full jdk: only the directories bin, conf, lib are required - and the large lib/src.zip can be removed, too.
Java 11 doesn't seem to run :-) so either change it into "version 9-10", or (preferably) update compatibility - thanks.
It can happen at least in two cases:
1. You're using Ghostleeching and the sources expire - a restart triggers a tracker connection
2. You're using "Don't count torrent as using a download...
My experience is that the queue system is nice for fast torrents with many seeds - too many active of these tend to choke the connection, you get faster completion by downlading not all at once but...
Here are 3rd party Windows builds of Java 10, including x86 :-) ... https://github.com/ojdkbuild/ojdkbuild/releases ... I didn't try it yet, though
Java 10 seems to be working too (even though it's only available on x64) - the changes appear to be minor, and BiglyBT doeesn't appear to use the deprecated features that were removed?...
That doesn't work, the anonymizer replaces the "+" from 9.0.4+11 with a space ... but even if I fix this, I'm getting a "An unauthorized request.", same after trying to download x64 (after accepting...

Let's hope the continued Java9 support doesn't prevent regular updates as BiglyBT evolves :-> ... thanks to the devs for tracking the Vuze/BiglyBT development for all this time!
Thanks for the regular updates, even if it's "just" a new core - but never try to fix something that ain't broken :-)
Get Azureus from Sourceforge, as far as I remember there's an eveil-free(tm) version there... from then on, just replace the .jar with the sbi hack.
Here ya go: 5711 B07 - Vuze Dev Blog ... though fixing it might not be that pressing b/c I just read up and discovered limiting the connections to a sane value is actually more sensible than...
Right, that would be it, thanks :-o ... it would be great to get a beta 5.7.1.2 (or whatever) upgrade once Vuze fixes this of course.
