Utorrent 2.0.4 Build 22450 No Upload

Hello,

I just downloaded « uTorrent 2.0.4 Build 22450 - No Upload » and uploaded it to VirusTotal.
The result: 8 out of 43 hits while uTorrent 3.2.2 has 0 out of 43 hits.

Don't believe this works.

Prolly a thread necro, but I monitored my upload speeds while using this, and they become virtually maxed out while downloading a torrent. Stop the torrent, my uploading ceases.

Says its not uploading, my network meter says I am.

Start a torrent, i go from 0.0 kb upload to ~100kb upload.

Stop the torrent, upload stops. Something is certainly uploading.

Better of just using uSerenity. At least if have to upload, you can at least spoof.

Protocol traffic.

I don't even know if this can be updated .
Anyway i will do a Transmission or other opensource bittorent mod during summer, not that it is necessary but i want to do it .

without it it won't do its job? you tested that?

Shouldn't make any difference . Upload Speed doesn't affect the necessary upload in order to download right ? If it doesn't affect doesn't matter.

The executable file has much more size (900472 Bytes) than the packed rar (417186 Bytes). So I think most portions of the file are not packed. The filesizes are from version 2.2.1, but version 2.0.4 ist similar.

Windows 10 doesn't work either. what is the solution?

The file ist protected with themida. It is called a packer, but it does not pack an executable file, it is a protection against reverse engineering. This could be incompatible with windows 10.

Doesn't sound good, but compatibility mode is still worth a quick try.
