bad jokes, adult innuendo aimed at YA audience (use the pipe to poke-em-on the can, the little furry friend does the thinking for you)
while the screen shows a brave new family from the brave new world (which is what that hope results with), consisting of a male-lookalike female driving a car (representing feminism leading the way), her interracial barely-male partner (nothing like his dad, rejecting traditional values, looking the other way) and their children, exercising their modern state-enforced human rights to identify themselves as a furry or some other perverted concept (representing freedom), with earthshaking consequences to the health of the society (further degradation)Quote:

analyzing movies like these will only lead to disappointment.
The entire premise seems absurd to me, and not exactly enough to be interesting. It's clear that they wanted to have a live-action movie with pokemon and force-fit the two concepts together.
However, I'll say that the CGI on the pokemons seems good (bringing cartoons to "life" often yields weird and/or creepy results), and at least they're trying something different, instead of yet another anime movie about having to catch 'em all.
